| Honey Bees |
 |
European Honey Bees and their more infamous cousin the Africanized or "Killer" Bees look alike to the naked eye, but their personalties are very different.
Honey Bees can pose a significant health and safety problem when they nest close to humans, but are usually more docile in nature.
They will however defend their bee colony if they feel threatened or provoked and cause serious injury and sometimes death to persons or animals that are allergic to the honey bees venom.
Honey Bees are not a do-it yourself job without the proper equipment or knowledge in how to best deal with them as even experienced bee keepers and exterminators are sometimes stung even when taking all precautions .
Important! Bee Hive Removal
Reasons why you need to remove the bee honeycomb:
1. Honey Bees and Africanized Honey Bees leave a pheromone on their hives that will attract other bees called robber bees. Bees are very opportunistic and
when they find an unattended hive they will steal the honey or recolonize the hive. This Honey Bee Pheromone can attract bees for years after the death of the bee colony.
2. Honey can ferment due to heat and become a huge odor problem while also soaking through sheetrock and ruining walls as it seeps down them.
3. The honeycomb is also food for other bugs and insects, attracting ants, roaches etc. and cause even more pest problems.

| Africanized / Killer Bees |
It's nearly impossible to tell "killer" Africanized honey bees from "regular" European honey bees without a magnifying glass.
Slightly smaller than their cousins, the big difference between European honey bees and Africanized "Killer" bees is that they are much more aggressive, and will defend their colonies with less provocation and more ferocity.
Allthough their venom is no stronger than European honey bees, they attack in greater numbers and and are relentless in the pursuit of their victim. Once they are agitated it may take hours for them to calm down, often chasing and stinging
hapless people, pets and other animals.
This makes it ever so important to find a qualified, experienced bee extermination expert to deal with your bee problem.
